Heritage Quest Online States N to R

The web page for HeritageQuest Online became too big and unwieldy. It was difficult to edit. Therefore, the page has been divided into several smaller pages. This page lists all the libraries known to have HeritageQuest Online remote access in the states of Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

  • All Nebraska residents have remote access to HQ via NebraskAccess. The Nebraska Library Commission provides these resources with funding from the State of Nebraska. Your Nebraska Driver's License Number, State Identification Number, or NebraskAccess Password (obtained from your local library) serves as a Login and will give you free access to many online databases, including HQ. For information see: http://www.nlc.state.ne.us/index.html
and to login, go to: http://www.nlc.state.ne.us/nebraskaccess/logon.asp

Pennsylvania residents who have a card from their local library with a blue ACCESS PA sticker, but do not have remote access to HQ through that library, may be able to get a free card from one of the libraries below. Usually, you must apply in person. Check the individual library website for requirements for getting a card from that particular institution.
