Handybook for Genealogists

The Handybook for Genealogists, 11th Edition, published in 2005, was the most extensive revision in years of a well-known reference work for genealogists and family history researchers.

The Handybook includes information regarding genealogical resources in the United States and world wide. Content includes contact information for genealogical societies and  libraries; lists of archives, state and county offices, and the records they hold; state maps with counties outlined and named, with a genealogy of which counties were born from which earlier counties; and migration trail maps.
