Grand Prairie Genealogical Society
The Grand Prairie Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization, whose objectives are to promote education and interest in the field of genealogy. Membership is open to anyone interested in promoting those objectives. The Society meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Stuttgart (Arkansas) Public Library located at 2002 South Buerkle Street.
Annual dues are payable on or before January 1 of each year. Membership categories are $15 (individual), $20 (household of 2 or more individuals), $50 (researcher), $100 (tree climber), $500 (archivist), or $1000 (life sponsor). Meeting program topics are suggested by members and designed to teach local genealogists about a variety of subjects. Membership dues are used to purchase materials for the genealogy collection housed at the local public library and sponsor workshops for researchers at all skill levels.
