Computer Assisted Genealogy Group - Cleveland Area

The Computer Assisted Genealogy Group - Cleveland Area (CAGG) is a non-profit genealogical group in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. The group's purpose is to provide the resources for educating people in computer assisted genealogy methods.

CAGG meetings are rather like mini-seminars. The day begins at 9:30 a.m. with a morning program and continues about 11:00 a.m. with the user's groups. At noon, there is an hour break for lunch, a gathering of members for discussion and making new friends. Many folks "brown bag" it, bringing lunch from home. About 1:00 p.m., there is a Computer Techniques session.

Meetings are held the third Saturday January-June and September-November at the Fairview Park Regional Library, 21255 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, Ohio. This branch hosts the Cuyahoga County Public Library system's genealogical collection and is staffed by a genealogical specialist.
